Before you grab another make-up tool, be aware of your beauty routine that maybe adds years to your natural look. To prevent yourself we recommend you few anti-age make-up techniques to mask wrinkles and achieve youthful-looking skin.
A. Wrinkles and lines on your face, especially the deeper lines on the forehead, the between-brow furrows and around the mouth and nose, are more visible on a dry skin. Dehydrated skin can emphasize them more often. Therefore, it is desirable to moisturize the skin regularly. Moisture will temporarily smooth away the wrinkles. So, create a smoother canvas by faithfully applying an anti-aging moisturizer and eye cream before you begin putting on makeup.
B. If you use a heavy cover-up on the dark eye-circles, you may actually enhance crow's-feet and laugh lines. The thick formula can only worsen the situation and dry out as the day goes by. Instead, apply a lightweight concealer from the inner corner to the middle of your eye, and light foundation, which is less likely to sit in wrinkles, under your outer eye.
C. Thick foundations have drying ingredients that can make the existing wrinkles look bigger then they actually are. It’s better to replace it with a much lighter version. Or make the combination of primer and tinted moisturizer.
D. To avoid the imperfections around the eyes, forget about those metallic and shimmery shadows because they highlight the wrinkles. Instead, apply natural-looking matte shadows to lift and conceal lids that are droopy or wrinkled.
E.The mattifying powder may fight shine, but its mattifying effects exaggerate lines on the drier areas of the face, including the forehead. If you want to set your foundation to avoid shine, be sure to choose a luminous, fine-milled product.
F. Matte lipsticks can make lines appear deeper and more obvious, because they tend to be thicker. Prevent yourself from the wrinkles by applying a moisturizing lip balm or an anti-aging eye cream to your lips before you apply the lipstick.
