Perfect skin in winter days

It's very hard to feel beautiful when your skin isn't healthy, and winter can be really harsh on our skin. Cold weather, steaming hot showers, harsh winds and central heating… All of these can be enemies of the skin if you don’t have the right protection for the bad weather. Really, it's no wonder so many of us face skin problems this time of the year.

Everyone has different skin and the best way to finding a great moisturizer is knowing your skin type. Do you have combination, dry or oily skin? If you don’t know what’s your skin type and what moisturizer would be best for you, then its best for you to visit a dermatologist that will tell you what type is your skin and how to protect it in the cold winter days.

As we mention before, there are 3 types of skin, combination, dry or oily skin. Here are a few tips on how to protect all of the 3 types, especially in winter.

Let’s start with the mixed or combination skin. It is a mix of oily and dry skin. Most often the so called T-zone is the one that it is oily and the other parts of the face, the chicks, the eyes etc. are dry. Its genetics that are responsible for this skin condition. So, depending on how dry your dry areas are and how oily your oily areas are you’ll have to carry the different parts of your face differently. The oil-absorbing ingredients work best for oily areas, and you need emollient booster, serum, or moisturizer for the dry areas, especially around the eyes.

Avoid skin wipes when you take off your makeup and clean your face if you have dry skin. Use serum that contains ingredients such as Vitamin E, Zinc, Hyaluronic Acid and Milk Peptides and the skin will be plumped, hydrated and with a nice, subtle iridescent shine. And the very best and the hero for dry skin is The moisturizer. Use it especially in the cold winter days.

Contrary to these two skin types, the winter can be a welcome change for oily skin. But, this doesn’t mean that you should stop washing your face twice a day. Just because you have less face oil doesn’t mean you should skip cleansing sessions. The right moisturizer can replace the water and protect your face without conceiving new breakouts. So don’t forget to always use a water-based moisturizer.

And at the end: DRINK A LOT OF WATER!!!
