Have you noticed that every beauty salon uses face steaming before any treatment?
But why is this so important for our skin?
When water is boiled for a few minutes, it turns into steam or vapor. And these water fumes are very beneficial for your skin. Clogged pores are one of the primary contributing factors to skin breakouts. This lead to forming blackheads and whiteheads, which can cause more serious skin conditions: pimples and acne. The warm steam causes your face to sweat; it opens your pores and helps trapped dirt to be released. Human skin naturally produces sebum that protects and lubricates pores, but when it’s trapped in a follicle a breakout can occur. Face steaming is like taking a bath which cleanse from the inside out! The goal is to open up the pores and allow active ingredients better penetrate the skin. Now you know how steaming your face is essential part of any facial and why they are often used in salons for skin treatments.
Because professional facial treatments are not affordable for everyone and can be a bit too expensive, we will show you how you can give yourself a beauty makeover in an inexpensive way. Easy to do while you are sitting at home and enjoying the cold winter nights. We called it: flawless beauty in three steps!
Step 1: Herbal face steam
Yes, herbs are the ultimate secret for happy pores. Many dry herbs can be beneficial to the skin, but we still give preference to Chamomile. You can scoop some dried chamomile flowers into a bowl and pour boiling water over it. Or, boil some water in a pot while adding a few chamomile tea bags inside. In the second way you guarantee grater extraction. However, in both ways the solution should look like potpourri and your skin will absolutely love it! Lean over the mixture area and cover your head with a towel. Place your face close enough to the vapor, but not so close that your skin feels overheating. Steam your face for minimum 5 minutes, but no more than 10 minutes. You can practice this method once a week. Now, go and make a tea for your skin.
Step 2: Crystal Secret Black Mask
When we learned how to make the tops of the blackheads as adhesive as possible, it is time to apply the Black Mask. Apply an even, thick layer of the peeling Black Mask to clean and dry skin. Make sure to avoid your sensitive areas and hairy parts (eyes, eyebrows and lips). Leave the Black Mask on for minimum 20 minutes, or until completely dry and elastic. Never rush a facial treatment in order to achieve absolute results. After all, time of peeling depends on layer thickness and skin type. When ready, slowly peel it off from outer edge to center of your face. And finally, some additional advice: if some stubborn blackhead won’t come out, that means it is not the time to remove it. Do not, in any case try popping and picking your face. You can get rid of it another day and prevent skin damage. Use the Crystal Secret Black Mask once or twice a week.
Step 3: Crystal Secret Face Toner
Very common question is “What should I do with my pores after removing blackheads and whiteheads”. Clogged pores can become enlarged and removing the blackheads and whiteheads leaves an open pore. Regarding to this, ALWAYS tone your skin after the facial treatment. Follow up by using a toner on your face. Apply toner with the ingredient of hyaluronic acid over the skin after the peeling treatment. Crystal Secret Face Toner refers to a lotion designed to tighten your pores and give your face the final refreshment. Crystal Secret Toner can be applied to the skin on damp cotton wool. Crystal Secret Face Toner formula helps restore skin’s pH balance, giving a youthful, glowing appearance and helping to close pores. Use face toner twice a day (day and night), especially after the Black Mask.
