Mistake #1: Using expired makeup

Never forget to check the makeup expiration date. Using an expired makeup may cause irritation on your skin, dermatitis or the growth of bacteria.

Mistake #2: Sleeping in your makeup

Sleeping in makeup is the biggest skincare crime. The skin regenerates itself during the night and makeup products on the skin don’t allow this to happen so easily. You may end up with clogged pores, pimples, blackheads and acne. That’s why no matter how exhausted you are, never forget to clean make up from your face before going to bed.

Mistake#3: Popping your pimples

If you are doing it, you MUST stop right now. First of all, by touching your face you may transfer microbes from your hands and worse the problem. Secondly, by picking and squeezing all the time you may develop bacterial infection or create a scar.

Mistake#4: Forgetting to wash your makeup brushes

This is something that we all forget to do and which is really, really bad for our skin. Makeup brushes are in direct contact with the surface of the skin and if they are not properly cleaned may transfer bacteria and yeast to it. That’s why always wash your brushes at least twice a week to make sure they are skin safe.
