BB, CC or DD Cream? What should I choose?

With the introduction of BB, CC and DD creams, it has become easier to even any skin tone within minutes. They offer much more incredible benefits than any foundation but, due to their similar structure it’s very easy to be confused on which product to purchase.

BB CREAM i.e. Beauty Balm Primer

Is creamy and moisturizing product that provides full coverage with added skin care benefits like SPF and antioxidants. It also offers daily sun protection, extra hydration and moisture, and gives a smooth, even and flawlessly looking skin tone. It is lighter than foundation but, heavier than regular moisturizers. Just perfect for smooth skin. It works best for normal to dry skin, by giving it a long-lasting, luminous and flawless finish.

CC CREAM i.e. Color Corrector

Is lightweight and fast-absorbing oil-free product perfect for oily and acne prone skin. It often gives lighter coverage than BB creams and focus on color-related skin issues and can be used as a moisturizer, foundation, primer, SPF and anti-aging cream. It is also fast absorbing, and its formulations instantly correct the skin tone.

DD CREAMS i.e. Daily Defense Do All

Is creamy and thick product with anti-aging benefits that can help smooth the skin and reduce fine lines and it is most suitable for women who need anti-ageing solutions to hide lines, wrinkles, etc. Since this cream is thicker in texture, it provides better coverage and is also more suited for dry and slightly matured skin.

All of these creams are similar to foundations but, with added benefits such as: sun protection, color-correcting ingredients and anti-age benefits.

The difference between them is that BB creams are best for dry to normal skin types. CC creams are best for oily skin types. DD creams are suitable for dry and wrinkled skin i.e. much mature skin.

It’s up to you to decide which one suits best to your skin type.
